AjrUp Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Account info: email address, display name, gender, and language preference.
- Ibadah data: prayer logs, Quran reading sessions, dhikr counts, fasting records, sadaqah journal entries, and related progress (XP, streaks, levels).
- Location (optional): city-level location to provide accurate prayer times. We do not track precise GPS location.
- Device info: push notification token for reminders.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize the app experience (prayer times, progress tracking, leaderboards).
- To send prayer reminders, streak alerts, and nudge notifications you have opted into.
- To enable social features (friends, guilds, leaderboards, nudges).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
- Supabase: authentication and database hosting.
- Expo: push notification delivery.
- Al Adhan API: prayer time calculations (only your city is sent, not your identity).
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase-hosted servers with row-level security policies. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
5. Your Rights
- Access & edit: You can view and update your profile data at any time within the app.
- Delete: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.
- Notifications: You can disable all notifications from the app settings at any time.
6. Children's Privacy
AjrUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
